After your final walkthrough and payment, our office administrator will register your warranty through the GAF portal, based on the package installed. You’ll receive a packet from GAF with all the warranty details in about 6-8 weeks.
The word “Lifetime” refers to the length of coverage provided by your GAF warranty and means as long as you, the original owner(s) [or the second owner(s) if coverage was properly transferred during the Smart Choice Protection Period], own the property where the shingles and/or accessories are installed. The Lifetime limited warranty is applicable only to shingles and accessories installed on a single-family detached residence owned by individuals. For any other type of owner or building, such as a corporation, governmental entity, religious entity, condominium or homeowner association, school, apartment building, office building, or multi-use structure, the length of the warranty is 40 years.
This process varies from manufacturer, for GAF you will have to visit their official website and click the file a claim. https://www.gaf.com/en-us/resources/warranties/claims

Yes, we provide a rendering service upon request. One of our project managers will invite you to our showroom, where you can see your home modeled using our advanced 3D software. - Cracks or Splits: Look for visible cracks or splits in the siding material.
- Warping or Buckling: If the siding appears warped or buckled, it may not be providing proper protection.
- Rotting or Decay: Check for signs of rot, especially in wood siding, which can lead to structural issues.
- Fading or Discoloration: Significant fading or discoloration can indicate that the siding is aging and losing its effectiveness.
- Moisture Damage: Look for signs of water damage, such as mold, mildew, or peeling paint, which could mean the siding is no longer waterproof.
- Insect Infestation: Evidence of pests, like termites or carpenter ants, can signal that your siding is compromised.
- High Energy Bills: If your energy costs have increased, it might be due to poor insulation from damaged siding.
- Visible Nails or Fasteners: If nails are popping out or are exposed, it might be a sign of wear.
Discovery Process
- Visual Inspection: Look for discoloration, dark spots, or fuzzy growth on the surface of the siding. Check areas around windows, doors, and where siding meets other materials.
- Tap Test: Gently tap on the siding with a tool. If you hear a hollow sound or the material feels soft, it may be rotting.
- Moisture Meter: Use a moisture meter to check for elevated moisture levels in the siding or underlying materials.
- Check Inside: Look for signs of water damage inside your home, such as stains on walls or ceilings, which can indicate rot behind the siding.
Treatment
If the mold covers a large area, or if you’re dealing with extensive water damage, we will contract a professional mold remediation service. This will need to be completed before siding can proceed.
