GAF Master Elite is held by roughly the top 2% of roofing contractors. That designation supports elevated install standards and can open enhanced warranty pathways many contractors cannot offer, including Golden Pledge on qualifying systems.
Eminent also carries GAF credentials such as President's Club recognition. Credentials help with eligibility, but the installed system still has to meet manufacturer requirements for the tier you want.

Lifetime refers to the length of coverage under the applicable GAF warranty terms. For a qualifying single-family home owned by individuals, it generally applies for as long as the original owner owns the property, subject to warranty terms. Coverage rules can differ for other property types. It is not a guarantee that a roof lasts forever.
Important Notes
- Qualifying accessory products typically include ridge cap shingles, starter strip shingles, leak barrier products, roof deck protection products, and attic ventilation products. Low-slope membranes are generally excluded from this accessory count.
- GAF certification program contractors are independent businesses, not employees of GAF.
- Lifetime means the period defined in the applicable GAF limited warranty. For many single-family detached homes owned by individuals, coverage can run for as long as the covered owner owns the home, subject to warranty terms. Other property types can have shorter stated terms such as 40 years.
- Smart Choice is the non-prorated coverage period described in GAF documents. After that period, coverage is reduced under the published schedule.
- Wind speed coverage and WindProven limited wind warranty rules depend on shingle labeling, nail count, starter strip use, ridge cap installation, and accessory counts. Ask for the current GAF requirements for your selected system.
